This is a collection of maps representing the collaboration of many scientific researchers who have been working in the arctic over the past 30 years. The maps range from the entire Circumpolar Arctic to the nesting bird density in a bay. The atlas has a four-dimensional framework that allows the user to search in different regions or scales of interest or for a topic or year of interest. The images are mainly photographs of high quality. Subjects covered include vegetation, hydrology, soils, geology, glaciology and topology.
