This site is a well-rounded site that has excellent organisation. There are many different resources for Monarch butterflies including an image gallery, with photos and artwork. There are resources on biology, migration and conservation of the butterflies which is targeted at all ages. Some of the information is particularly targeted at school children with advice on rearing monarchs in the classroom and watching their lifecycle. A most interesting and educational site.

This site integrates several sources of information about ants; taxonomic files, specimen data, and images taken using Automontage and a Leica microscope. The images are of high quality, but are difficult to find. Information and images are available on world ants, Californian ants and Madagascan ants. Each species has information on its natural history and distribution. Lots of information to be found on this site but it is not so well organised.

This is a virtual field guide to the moths of North America. It has been compiled by the Moth Photographes Group at the Mississippi Entomological Museum at Mississippi State University.
